The Insecure Me

I’m taking time to reflect on a time when I was so insecure that there would be no way I could successfully complete the mission that God has given me: “To help women deal with the ‘Matters of the Heart’ so they can move forward and change the world!”

See another women’s success used to mean failure for me. I was constantly in fear of someone being better, achieving greater, or taking my place.

Insecurity not only affected my relationships with others but it prevented me from trying new things for fear I wouldn’t be the greatest. Dare I fall short or make a mistake at something, I vowed to never try it again.

Thank God I did my work and realized that I had seeds planted from very young age. I developed the need to not just be the best, but better than everyone else to prove to myself I was worth something. To prove those who doubted me were wrong.

We can all operate at our best and know that it doesn’t dull anyone’s sparkle. Actually, as we reflect our greatness off of each other,  we shine even brighter! ☀️

Maybe you are struggling with insecurities. Get to the root of what it is that you fear, then deal with it so you can be free.

You have world-changing work to do! 🌎

Valentines Day: Reflecting

So it’s Valentines Day! You may be enjoying your special someone or content in your singleness; but there are some who are hurting, discouraged and lonely. I want to encourage you all!

I woke up to the love of my life this morning, exchanged gifts, and kissed him “see you later” for work. And now as I reflect on my life, I remember it was not always this way.

Often we see the joy of others and wish it were us or celebrate them and have no idea the road that lead up to that place.

I used to dread Valentines Day. I had some times when in hopes to create a love that was nonexistent, I did all the Celebrating and gift giving while the man did all the receiving. I had some where I was married and people assumed it would be a day of celebration for me but turned out to be just another day void of the love I desired and deserved. Let’s face it: flowers and candy don’t make up for a year of disrespect, infidelity, and lies!

Then something shifted and I begin to enjoy Valentines Day. You might be thinking that I mean when I met my husband, nope before him. When I was single again. I begin to focus on the love my God had for me, I begin to talk to him more and build a relationship. I learned to love myself and would feel prompted by the Holy Spirit to buy myself those things I wanted. I called them gifts from my Heavenly Father because He blessed me with resources to get myself the things my heart desired.

What a beautiful place to be! Even now I still receive gifts from my Heavenly Father, no one can beat His giving. No matter where you find yourself on today. Make sure you are experiencing the pure and unconditional love that only comes from the Father. It is available to you. I promise I won’t be jealous of the gifts you get 😉, He has more than enough to bless all his children. Smooches 😚

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”

‭‭John‬ ‭3:16‬ ‭

“Delight yourself also in the LORD, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.”

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭37:4‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

How to Stop Worrying

Are you a worrier? Do you sit and ponder on what’s not right, what you don’t have, what you need, or what might go wrong?

If so, then yes you are a worrier. You are in great company. It takes effort to stop worrying but you have to do the work.

The word of God says:

“Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.”

‭‭Philippians‬ ‭4:8‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Worry is the opposite of the mediation that the Lord instructs us to do. In order to reduce your anxiety and stress try replacing those thoughts with the Word of God!

I’ve attached a start of some verses you can use, study and find some more.

Practice speaking this words, thinking these words all day! Worry will leave and faith will take over!

Leave me a comment and let me know how this helped you. This literally changed my life.  Blessings

Stir Up Your Gift!

We were all created with a gift! A gift that is to be used to bring God glory and to help change the world! That might sound “extra” to you but if you change one life and that person changes one life and this continues exponentially, you have impacted the world!

Join me tonight as we talk about how to stir up your gift! The world needs it.

A Love Check-up

So, I was holding a grudge against my husband. Yep, Hey don’t judge me! LOL

He apologized about something and I felt like I forgave him too quickly. I was sitting “overthinking” coming up with reasons to stay mad. The Holy Spirit came in with conviction using this scripture. (That’s why you need to KNOW the Word of God so it can help you at the right time!)

“Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.”

‭‭I Corinthians‬ ‭13:4-7‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

So I put my name in place of the word love in this scripture and realized I was falling short.

Take this quiz today. Read this passage of scripture with your name in place of the word love. Does the scripture represent how you demonstrate love? What grade did you get?

If you you or your spouse are falling short in any of these areas then you know what to pray for and what to declare using this scripture.

If you are not married yet and your partner is falling short, you have some evaluation to do. Is he or she really a keeper?

This scripture doesn’t just apply to our romantic relationships but to all of our relationships. We must get love right! If we fail at loving, we fail at everything else.

If you are having issues in this area I can help!

Irritated to Greatness!

Irritated to greatness!

The formation of a natural pearl begins when a foreign substance slips into the oyster and causes irritation. The oyster’s natural reaction is to cover up that irritant to protect itself. The oyster covers the irritant with layers of the substance that is used to create the shell. This eventually forms a pearl.

There have been times in my life where I have felt completely frustrated and irritated by my life situation at that moment. I’m now realizing that it’s in those times that my “substance” steps in and creates something beautiful.

What’s my substance you might ask? My…

  • Faith
  • Anointing
  • Gifts
  • Talents
  • Purpose
  • Love

If I’m going to allow something to irritate me, it’s gonna have to work for my good and create something great!

Irritated? It’s time to produce!
